Day 3, Tuesday, At Sea

We spent most of the first day getting to the ship - Etemadfar's and Sarkissian's on American Airlines and Tweed/Booth on Southwest. Shirley & Jerry are in the "elite" special group but the rest of us stood in the embarkation line for 2 hours. After 120 days at sea with Princess Lines we, also, will become "elite".

Yesterday we became familiar with the ship, wandering around trying to find what floor was the dining room?, where was line dancing?, where was the card room?, and finally ending the day with a formal dinner.

At noon we'll arrive in Cabo and shop for our first trinkets of the trip. All the fellows are excited about this part of the trip.

Weather has been getting better the further South we travel -- soon it will be too hot!

Rosie has found Jerry's meditation CD so she's relaxed and not worrying about anything.
Shirley, Leila & Rosie found their first Mah Jongg game.
Shawn found a good book.
Dennis played Texas Hold'em and came in 3rd (no money), $$ winners were only 1st & 2nd place.
Jerry has been napping with his book in his hand on a high perch where he can see it all.

Life is good.

  1. Thanksgiving is over. Christmas is coming. We are back home, and I miss you. Reading your blog with a cup of coffee feels a little like a morning with the dog walkers. XO XO
